September Favourites

1.Meghan Trainor

This month i have been soo obsessed with Meghan Trainor, i loved All About That Bass so i researched more of her music and oh my god if you haven't heard it you need to, my favourite from her ep. is Close Your Eyes. I love the fact that her music is kind of old school style but stilll fits in with the modern music.

2.Storage Boxes

For some reason i have been buying a lot of storage boxes this month, i just think that they make your room look so much more organised and more personalized, i am a very girly girl so i love bringing my room together with floral boxes and pastel colours.  

3. Daily Vlogs

This month i have also been loving watching daily vlogs, Zoella's this month have been my favourite to watch and also VelvetGh0st's moving out vlogs, i just love relaxing at the end of the day and watching YouTube.

4.Cheryl Cole Perfume Stormflower

I dont actually own this perfume but when i went into Superdrugs a few weeks ago i had to pick it up and smell it, i just love this scent it is so girly and refreshing and ever since i have wanted it, just don't have enough money :(

5.Eye Shadow

Also this month i have started using eye shadows, i never usually wear eye shadow because i find that it doesn't suit my eye shape, obviously this isn't my picture but i hadn't taken one of my own but this is the kind of style that i have based mine on. Also i like to watch tutorials online to see if i can experiment in anyway my favourites are tutorials from Tanya Burr.

6.Switched At Birth

In August i was watching The Fosters, but because for now they are having a break i have needed to find a different series to enjoy. I have been really enjoying switched at birth over the past few weeks, the title explains a lot but it is about these two girls who were switched at birth and how their families are dealing with the struggles of trying to reunite with their true families. 

7.Yoghurt Covered Honeycomb

Lately my local Co-op have been doing yoghurt covered honeycomb, i love honeycomb so being covered in yoghurt makes it just that extra bit better i am absolutely addicted to them they are soo nice, and they are much better then snaking out on chocolate, even though i do still love my chocolate ;)

8.Michael Mcintyre

Michael Mcintyre has to be my favourite comedian i have been re-watching his dvds a lot lately he never seems to fail to make me laugh and he is on tour nest year and i am hoping that i will be able to go, but am not sure if i can, but i just think he is soo funny and always is great to watch when your having a bit of a down day.

My Summer Look Book

I have decided to create my own look book, with the things which i mainly wear during the summer time and since the weather has been really hot i decided i wanted to show off my summer dresses. Now i know i'm not the slimmest person ever so please don't be horrible about the way i look and please ignore the fact that i am horribly pale. I would put the prices on each of these items but i have had them a while and have no idea what the prices were or where i got them from. 

These are most of the things i were when the weather becomes warmer, i like to wear leggings mainly because i'm not a huge fan of my legs and i keep them covered up, but when i do wear dresses, i like them to be flowing dresses i'm not really suited to maxi dresses. i prefer the skater dress style, this is just because personally i feel more comfortable in them. Also my favorite dress from this selection has to be the blue butterfly one, i recently purchased this from Primark for £8.00 its very light so very ideal for the summer time. 

Also in the summer i like to wear my hair in a fish tail braid this is because for people with long hair like mine, its nice to keep it out of your face when its hot because it can just make you feel worse. However i do still wear my hair down a lot of the time. 

I also enjoy adding clips to my hair, this is because i have a very stubborn fringe and it never looks right if i have it down, and half the time it just gets on my nerves, so i like to add an accessory to make it look cuter and to help me get my hair out of my face. 

Cushions and Candles

I have a strange addiction to cushions and candles, i just think that they bring the room together. Obviously because i'm only 18 i still live at home with my parents so i love to decorate and change up my bedroom and make it unique to my personality. When i was younger i used to personalize my room with posters of celebrities that i had crushes on like any normal 14/15 year old girl. But now I've grown up a bit i want to be more mature in the way my bedroom is decorated.

 So firstly it was candles, this is because i really love, vanilla and floral scents so most of my candles are scented. I especially love them in the winter, when its raining outside and i can sit in my bedroom all cosy and warm in my bed with a nice romantic film, and candle light (i'm a bit of a hopeless romantic at heart, and a typical girl). My favourite one of my candles has my name on (i will insert pictures below) this candle is my favourite because i like the way it reflects the light onto the wall and how it creates different patterns, this one isn't scented but it is the only one which has no scent.

My second candle is scented (vanilla of course), but this one is a battery operated candle, this is because it changes colour once it has been lit, i like this candle because i brings in a different colour into your bedroom. However if you are watching a film/Movie the colour change can be off putting, but i think that this candle is ideal for just having a pampering session or relaxing in the bath. Also it does smell great!, i do think you can purchase this candle in a different scent if vanilla isn't your cup of tea. 

My last two candles are very basic and less decorative then the last two, but just as effective. the smaller candle is again a vanilla scent and the white and pink one is more of a light floral scent. I find that floral candles give off a stronger scent then any other candle, i'm not too sure whether this is because of the brand type or because the only other candles i have are vanilla scented. But i still enjoy these last two candles just as much as the previous ones.

Now onto cushions, when trying to make your bed nice and girly or just trying to make it look cute i think cushions are the best solution. When i was little i would cover my bed with cuddly toys and you wouldn't really be able to see much else. But i really like floral patterns on cushions, but not too much that it ends up looking like your Nan's curtains. I would say that mine are very simple and not too over the top. I also have cushions which have pictures on this adds the personal touch to the overall look of the bedroom. In my case i have got a cushion with a picture of my Grandad on who sadly passed away when i was four years old, and a picture of my dog who passed away last year i really like these cushions, but unfortunately they are more pricey then the floral ones because they have been personalized.

These are just some of the many things i do in my bedroom, to make it more unique and personal to me.I think that it is important for everyone to have that space that they can go to by themselves and just relax.

Zoella

I have started this blog because right now i need something to occupy my time and also because i love to write about things, i also found out about blogging because of Zoella i think her blog is awesome and if you haven't seen it you must, the link is www.zoella.co.uk she is an amazing blogger, youtuber and person.

Zoe has inspired me in many ways, mainly because i also suffer with panic attacks and anxiety but she inspires me to just keep going and don't let it get in your way and that really inspires me. Not to mention her youtube videos which are amazing, she mainly specializes in beauty and hauls but she does do some funny videos as well if you haven't seen her you really need to check it out. 

This is Zoella's last video which she spoke about her make-up collection and also made the video interactive for her viewers which i think made it a lot more interesting and made it so that you could see the parts of the collection which you wanted to. i find these kind of videos interesting because you get to see which products are the best to use. Also because i have very much the same skin type as Zoe this allows me to see which products are best for my skin.
