August Favourites

1. Troye Sivan - Happy Little Pill

I have always enjoyed watching Troye Sivan on YouTube he does comedy videos, collaboration videos and singing videos, recently he has brought out his ep, which i really want to hear, but i am loving 'Happy Little Pill' i think this song suits his voice so well and its nice to watch someone doing something that they love. Cant wait to hear his ep.

2.Classic- MKTO

I have also been loving Classic by MKTO, this song is really upbeat and i like the way it makes you want to get up and dance and sing along with it. Also i have been enjoying it because who doesn't like listening to upbeat songs in the summer.

3.App- Pinterest

I have recently joined Pinterest, it is a lot like Instagram but i enjoy both just the same, i like Pinterest because it is easy and simple to use, and also i think it has some really cool pics on there, however i do think that it is easier to use on a computer then on the app.

4.Harry Potter

I have recently wrote about this but i never thought that i would ever be writing about or watching these films, but i started watching them because i wanted to see what all of the fuss was about and now i love them soo much i am going to the Warner Brothers studio tour on the 7th September which i am super excited for.

5.Real Housewives Of Atlanta

Right i am a bit behind with this i think, because it has been shown on television before, but i have only just started watching this, i love it!! i think that its interesting watching these women in their careers and also i like the fact that they are all soo different from one another. My favourite has to be Phaedra i think that she is soo funny and sassy she brings humor into the programme, i also love Nene, i just love how she can speak her mind and not care what anyone thinks about it.

6.Lush Honey Bee Bath Bomb

I bought this bath bomb awhile ago, i haven't actually tried it yet but OMG!! i just love smelling it i don't want to use it because i just want to keep smelling it, to me it smells like honey but has a hint of toffee in there as well. This was £3.25 which is quite pricey but i am going to cut this in half so that you get your moneys worth.
I have tried the butterball and twilight bath bombs, they are all great they make your bath super silky and your skin feels soo soft afterwards

7.Thatcher Joe

The YouTuber i am loving at the moment is of course Mr Joe Sugg, i just think he is hilarious and he never fails to make me laugh in any of his videos, i am liking his Outlast videos on his gaming channel recently because i think they can be slightly scary but i think its funny seeing his reactions to things on there.

8.Home Hauls

I have also been watching a lot of home hauls for no apparent reason, because there is no way that am i moving out yet because i'm not ready yet but i have been watching Gabys home hauls, she has been doing this because she is currently moving out to Brighton she has also started doing vlogs of the days she is moving which i am enjoying her YouTube channel is called Velvetgh0st. I think she is soo lovely and funny as well.

9. The Fosters

I am pretty sure that i am behind with this as well but over the past week i have been watching The Fosters, which is about a lesbian couple who foster twins but they already have a son from a previous relationship, and then 2 more teens are put into their family. I am not going to give to much away but i am only on the 10th episode of the first series so i'm not to far into yet but i am really enjoying it.

My Story

I am not writing this for pity, and for people to feel sorry for me. I just want to share what i have been through in my school life so that i can let it out of my system and let others know that they are not alone.

But in this post i'm not going to write certain details and names, this is because, i don't want this read by the wrong person. So i was bullied by the same person for 12 years, it started when i was 6 and finally ended now i'm 18. I just want to let people know that it doesn't last forever and it will end and trust me the day that you know you never have to see or hear about that person ever again is the best day of your life. The girl that bullied me spread rumors about me about something that i had apparently said to her but the things that she was saying i would NEVER say to anyone. But because she was spreading these lies around people believed her, and thought i was the one bullying her so i was alone. She spread them at times she felt she was alone, for example at the beginning and when we went up to secondary school, she felt alone because she didn't know anyone, so this is why she started telling people again that i was "Bullying her", people began to feel sorry for her and hate me. Now i know this doesn't sound like much but when it had started it went between our families as well, and at this time because of the stress i started getting psoriasis which is a type of skin irritation, that you get when you get stressed, so i had people hating me as well as others picking at me for having that. I wasn't just bullied by her i was bullied by basically my whole year group, and stupid little boys for other reasons.

When she started again in secondary school i was about 11/12 now this time it was worse, i didn't know anyone, so nobody would believe me over her, at the time i had 2 best friends, 1 i still have now, but because we were young they never really said anything to anyone about it, which i don't blame them for because i probably wouldn't have either. This time it was worse because i was being threatened, i was being followed home,i would never go out with my friends because i was being followed, my parents were being called into the school every other day and i felt totally hopeless. I even had to get the police involved at one point because a boy had assaulted me, which was horrible. It started to quiet down after the first year of secondary school, but she never truly stopped. Up to about a few months ago i would still hear her bitching about me at every possible moment she could get, and she would always make sure that i was around when she was doing it so that i could hear what she was saying. I am not a very self confident person, so whenever she was put in a class with me i felt like i couldn't say anything because if i did then she would say something again. I felt totally ridiculous being 18 years old and being silentest and felt like i couldn't even breath around her, and its not because i was "scared" of her because trust me i wasn't i was just so fed up of hearing my own name so many times in an hour. Looking back at it now i just wish that i stood up for myself and confronted her. But i personally think that because she told the lie soo many times, she started to believe it herself and now i don't think she even knows the truth.

I understand that my story compared to others is nothing, but i just want to get the message across that it does get better and always talk to someone about it, because if it wasn't for my parents i don't know what would have happened, but i know that for some of you talking to your parents isn't an option, but please find somebody to talk to about it because otherwise your head will become your own worst enemy. Talk to teachers, i know that they aren't always helpful but sometimes they can be, if you feel like you don't have either option then visit the beat bullying website and there will always be someone on there that will help you i will leave the link at the end.

But i have shared this story because i need others to know about it and not hide it within myself anymore. But it does truly get better, when i was at school i was probably the quietest person in the class, but now that i have left i am becoming more positive about life and i am starting to have my own voice and not being afraid to say something.

If your reading this and you are being bullied please do not give up there is always a way out and someone to talk to, don't let them win.

Harry Potter

Whenever people used to talk about Harry Potter i always used to laugh about it, and make jokes. But this year i decided to give it a chance, i decided this because when i was younger i always enjoyed programs such as Wizards of Waverly Place and Sabrina the teenage witch, so i thought if i liked shows which were about magic maybe a should give Harry Potter a chance.

So after watching all 8 films i decided that i absolutely love it, i don't know what it is about it that i like soo much but it completely changed my opinion of it. I liked it so much that i even decided to buy all of the films which i have now watched sooo many times i can't count anymore.

But me and my family have decided that we all want to visit the Warner Bro's Harry Potter studio tour, i have watched a lot of videos about it so i pretty much know everything that is there but i really want to experience it. We have now booked our visit and it is on the 7th of September 2014, i am literally so excited and its not that long away. However it was quite pricey for the tour it was £31.00 each but i do think it will be worth the price. I really cannot wait for the experience and i am also excited because my family don't get many days out together anymore, mainly because my brother is now 22 years old and doesn't always come along but it will be nice for all of us to finally spend a day out together.

I am seriously really excited for this, and i will definitely be taking pictures and writing a blog review about it after the visit.

Galaxy Cookies Recipe

This recipe was inspired by VelvetGh0st who is also known as Gabriella Lindley on YouTube, on her video she created Toblerone cookies, and i'm not a huge fan of Toblerone so i decided to use the same recipe and she used but instead use my favourite chocolate which is Galaxy :), if you are from another country i think this chocolate is just sold in Britain but i could be wrong, but i think this recipe works with any chocolate.

Stuff you will need:
Weighing scales,
A Jug,
A Mixing Bowl,
A Wooden Spoon,
Measuring Spoons,
2 Baking Trays,
Grease Proof Baking Paper,
A Sieve,
A Pastry brush,
A Ice-cream Scoop/ A Spoon,
And A Whisk

Ingredients:
100g Butter,
50g Caster Sugar,
50g Icing Sugar,
1 Egg,
1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract (optional)
100g Plain Flour,
1/4 Teaspoon Salt,
1/4 Teaspoon Baking Powder
Big Bar of Galaxy Chocolate (or chocolate of your choice)

This recipe makes 12 cookies.

Steps:

1. First step is to preheat your oven to 180'C or 350'F,

2.Put 100g of butter into your mixing bowl a long with 50g of Caster sugar and Icing suger and after you have done this whisk those ingredients together until it looks fluffy and yellow like this:

3.Crack your egg into a jug and whisk until the egg yolk and white is mix all together
4. Then place 3/4 of the egg into the mixture which you have created and just mix that all in together,
5. This is when you have to add your 1/2 teaspoon of Vanilla Extract if you wish i didn't because i didn't have any but they are just as good without
6.Next you want to measure out 100g of Plain Flour and add 1/4 teaspoon of Salt and 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder into your flour, then sieve your flour mixture into the mixture you have already created,
7. After you have add all of the ingredients together you then want to mix that mixture all together, this is when you add the rest of the egg that you have left if you feel the mixture is too dry.
It should look a bit like this:

8. Next you want to start cutting up your chocolate pieces this is totally up to you depending on how big you want your chocolate chunks to be, this was mine:

9. After you have cut up your chocolate you want to add it to your mixture and mix it all together so that the cookie dough, is filled up with the chocolate chunks:

10. The next step is to line to baking trays with grease proof paper, all you need to do is to spread butter or margarine with a pastry brush onto the baking trays and then place the grease proof paper onto the baking trays. This is so that the cookies don't get stuck onto the baking tray when they are cooking:

11. After you have done this you will need to scoop the cookie dough in small even pieces onto the baking trays, with clear gaps so that they don't stick to each other, for me this mixture made 12 cookies:

12. Lastly you need to place the trays into your oven and wait for 12 minutes:

Wait for them to cool down for about 10/15 minutes and then...

Enjoy :)

The Liebster Award

I have been nominated for the Liebster Awards by Tori Kristine thank you for the nomination!! :)

Rules:

You must answer all questions that are given to you
Must link back to the person that nominated you
Nominate 11 bloggers who have less than 200 followers
Provide nominees with 11 questions of your choice
Cannot nominate the person who nominated you
Must inform nominees of your nomination
Provide nominees with a link to your post for more info

The questions i was asked:
1. Why and when did you start blogging?
I started blogging on the 29th of July 2014, i have tried to do blogging when i was younger but i never tried doing it probably. I have started blogging because i needed to find a hobby which was going to keep me occupied and i like trying to think about what im going to write about next.

2. Is this your first blog or have you had others?
This is my first blog which i have taken seriously.I also tried to play around with PICZO when i was little, but it was always just about your friends or tv programmes you enjoyed.

3. Do you use a lot of time on your blog?
I post every other day, and depending on what i am blogging about it can take me up to an 1 and half to do, sometimes more if im taking pictures.

4. What do you prefer when looking at other blogs? Lots of nice pictures, or a lot of text?
I like a mixture of both, i think that pictures do make it more interesting and you can understand what the author is trying to explain more, but i think its always nice to have a clear contrast between the two.

5. What do you enjoy reading about?
I like reading about anything really, i mostly read about beauty and the different products which other bloggers recommend. But i also enjoy reading about home stuff as well for example home hauls.

6. What famous blogs do you enjoy reading?
I love reading Zoella's blog, this is because i also watch her YouTube videos and i'm really enjoying her blog about different beauty requiems. I'm also interested in VELVETGH0ST blog im not sure if hers is classed as a famous blog but i do really like her content.

7. What is your favourite hair products?
I don't use many different products on my hair but lately i have been enjoying GARNIER Ultimate Blends Shampoo i think its smells, soooo nice you can get it in different scents but i find that the aragan oil and cranberry scent is the most satisfying, this make your hair really soft and is really good for dyed hair. I'm also enjoying L'OREAL Paris Elvive Colour Protect caring conditioner, this one doesn't state a scent but to me it smells really fresh and fruity, i find this product is really good for ruff ends and makes your hair really shiny and vibrant.

8. What is you favourite mascara?
My favourite mascara has to be Maybelline Mega Plush Mascara, i have just recently started to use this, i think it works really well, also it doesn't feel heavy on your eye lashes which i find very important. It is best if you use 2 coats with this mascara.

9. Do you use a lot of money on make-up?
I literally spend as little as possible on my make-up, this is mainly because i am currently unemployed and don't have a lot of access to money at the moment, but i personally think it doesn't matter about how much money you spend on your make-up because even the cheapest make-up can have as equal quality as say MAC products. Not that i'm, saying don't purchase MAC products because i have heard very good feedback about the make-up.

10. What is your favourite perfume?
This is a hard question for me, because i use A LOT of different perfumes. So i have to choose two i'm afraid, right now my favourite fragrances are Our Moment by One Direction and Intimately Beckham by Victoria Beckham

11. What do you think about this award?
I think this award if very good to discover new blogs and help new bloggers find inspiration when they are trying to find other blogs to nominate.

And the questions i want to ask are:
1. Why did you decide to start blogging?

2. What are your 3 main interests?

3. What do you enjoying blogging about most?

4. What is your favourite colour?

5. If you were only able to wear use one make-up item which would you choose?

6. Have you ever been on holiday if so, where?

7. Where is your happy place?

8. Do you have any pets, if no would you want one, and what would you have?

9. What is your current favourite tv programme?

10. Do you spend a lot of money on your make-up?

11. Do you watch YouTube if so, who are your favourite YouTubers?

My Summer Look Book

I have decided to create my own look book, with the things which i mainly wear during the summer time and since the weather has been really hot i decided i wanted to show off my summer dresses. Now i know i'm not the slimmest person ever so please don't be horrible about the way i look and please ignore the fact that i am horribly pale. I would put the prices on each of these items but i have had them a while and have no idea what the prices were or where i got them from.

These are most of the things i were when the weather becomes warmer, i like to wear leggings mainly because i'm not a huge fan of my legs and i keep them covered up, but when i do wear dresses, i like them to be flowing dresses i'm not really suited to maxi dresses. i prefer the skater dress style, this is just because personally i feel more comfortable in them. Also my favorite dress from this selection has to be the blue butterfly one, i recently purchased this from Primark for £8.00 its very light so very ideal for the summer time.

Also in the summer i like to wear my hair in a fish tail braid this is because for people with long hair like mine, its nice to keep it out of your face when its hot because it can just make you feel worse. However i do still wear my hair down a lot of the time.

I also enjoy adding clips to my hair, this is because i have a very stubborn fringe and it never looks right if i have it down, and half the time it just gets on my nerves, so i like to add an accessory to make it look cuter and to help me get my hair out of my face.

Drawing

Drawing is basically my only hobby, apart from now blogging i don't really do much else. I normally just draw portraits recently i have been drawing YouTubers, i have to be interested in who or what i'm drawing otherwise i will get bored and the drawing won't look right. It normally takes me up to 2 hours to complete a drawing and i have been drawing since i was about 13/14 years old but i can't remember what made me start drawing but i'm glad that i did. Its my way of taking my mind off of things and just concentrating on something else.

So here are my drawings:

These are most of my drawings some i am more proud of then others but i like them all, i have improved a lot over the years and i will continue drawing when i'm older as well, i'm not too sure if i want to do anything with it but for now it is mainly for me.

When i draw i like to draw on certain paper i can't really explain it, but its not like printer paper and its a more of an off white colour i find it easier to blend on this kind of paper. I have a hard back book which i like to draw in and all of these images come from but it is quite pricey, i purchased it from Hobby Craft for about £10 - £15 but it is really good quality and it is more expensive for a hard back book but that's what i wanted at the time and this way i can create a kind of portfolio if i ever do decide to do something with the drawings. Also when i draw i like to sit at my computer desk with the image on screen, i do this because this way i can see the image clearly and its a nice smooth surface to draw on, i don't do this with all of my drawings but most especially with the portrait images. Also i don't use professional pencils i just use cheap pencils i find for me that they are just fine and i get the same result from both. (i am also sorry for the picture quality i don't have a very good camera).
